In the game combat ready as pointed out by @superbburt there is a card called the Return of Dr. Merlot, which says that he not only morphed and experiment on single grimm, but that he spliced together diffrent Grimm to make them stronger, now I don’t know about you but that would make so much more sense with the knuckleeve, in the files of Grimm eclipse, there was a deleted conversation where Merlot made a comment about his creations dominating the wild grimm, did anyone notice that the group had encountered no grimm even after Qrow got injured? Thats probably because the Knuckleeve killed or warded them off
Not only would this make Merlot a much more prominent player in the RWBY universe (not that he isn’t already he basically CAUSED mountain Glen’s disaster) but he also is responsible for the death of Ren’s Parents

And Arryn has been killing this season and I dont blame Barbara in the least for falling in love with her 😉 (new ship? Lol nah). But all their voice acting has been amazing but the emotions Arryn and Barbara have been able to bring to life through their beautiful voices is just… ugh. Great job ladies. 👏👏👏
